It’s been a long time since I’ve written a blog post here. Most of the content I've been creating has been going to our sister site www.sustainablebusiness.co.
I hope to change that by doing short posts every week to ten days. Today’s post is about something that’s can add some real value to your life. What you ask might that be? It’s pretty simple. It’s the habit of being grateful for what’s going on in your life.
Even on the worst days I bet you can find something you’re grateful for. It might just be that you had food on your table. Or, if you’re not feeling very well, it could be even a minor change or being able to appreciate things in a different way.
When you take time to show the world that you’re grateful, you’re showing yourself that no matter how bad it gets you can find something to move your mindset towards one that’s positive versus one that’s negative.
What to do now
Here’s what I want you to do. I want you to take out a piece of paper and write down five things you’re grateful for. Then, I want you to do this tomorrow and the next day and the next day. After you’ve done this for five days in a row, ask yourself this question…"Am I feeling better about my life than I did five days ago?” My bet is your answer will be yes.
