Josh Patrick CFP, Founding Principal
Josh Patrick, Founding Principal of Stage 2 Planning Partners has spent his adult life running and building businesses. For the first twenty years of his business career, he was President and operated Patrick’s Food Service. From a company with one employee Josh built the company to four branch operations with 90 employees.
During Josh’s tenure in the food service business he served as President of the New York State Vending Association, was Education Director for the National Vending Association and in that capacity developed several courses on Financial and People management skills.
In 1995 he sold his vending operation and started working in the financial services industry. First, for a large mutual insurance company and since 1997 as a founding Principal of his own firm.
Josh specializes in working with private business owners on a variety of concentrated issues that are unique to owners of private firms. Among these are risk assessment, cash flow planning, investment planning, retirement plan design, estate planning, succession planning, family business strategies and business value building strategies.
He has spoken for many national trade associations and specializes in helping owners of private businesses develop plans that make their lives better. His platform speeches concentrate on giving attendees true take home value from the programs that they can implement on their return to their office.
Stage 2 Planning Partners purpose is to help their Clients make their lives better. All strategies, tactics and products used by Stage 2 are first run through this screen with their Clients. Josh’s belief is that Clients need to stay in control of their consulting engagements. He finds that when Clients stay in control, they are happier and get better results.
