What do you want to do?  It’s one of the questions that we hear several times a day.  I think many people are tired, tired of having to make decisions about what they want to do.

Have you ever had the experience where you wish someone would just take over and make a decision for you?  Does it seem that we’re having so many choices that making a decision becomes a huge chore?

I believe that part of the problem we have with making decisions is that we’re not sure how the decisions we’re making fit in with our lives.  We haven’t done a good job of answering what’s important and why it’s important.

If we spend more time thinking about the what’s and why’s in our lives we are likely to make decisions more easily.  I believe the reason for this is because once we know the answer to what and why, then how becomes more obvious.

Decision fatigue comes from choosing activities before we understand what we want to accomplish.  Making the outcome the first part of the process will make decisions more obvious and easier to make.

What do you think?  Are you feeling tired from having to make decision after decision?  Try understanding your outcome and I believe decision fatigue may become a thing of the past.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.  Please contact me at Jpatrick@stage2planning.com or click on this link to set a time to speak with me.
